Microsoft Excel Computer Skills Test
Multiple choice live simulated timed skills test verifying basic, intermediate and advanced knowledge of whatever version of Excel candidate will be required to use in your firm.
Time Value of Money/Financial Calculator Exercise
Candidate is required to solve several common TVM problems utilizing Microsoft Excel and/or a financial calculator and show all work. This exercise provides candidates a set amount of time in which to solve the problems.
Situational Writing Assessment
Candidate is required to develop a written response from a group of questions clients commonly ask. This exercise provides candidates a set amount of time to develop the response.
Financial Planning Technical Skills Assessment
Candidate is required to answer technical financial planning multiple choice questions on retirement, estate, tax, investments, and insurance. This exercise provides candidates a set amount of time to answer several dozen questions.
Financial Planning Software Skills Assessment
Candidate is required to complete a basic financial plan with a given client fact set with the demo version (if available) of the software suite your firm employs. Candidate will be required to produce a net worth statement, asset allocation, retirement projection and current cash flow projection.
FINRA Licensing Verification and Review
Review of candidate Brokercheck profile for license status, date obtained, work history, and disclosed events.
CFP® Certification Verification and Review
Review of candidate CFP Board of Standards profile for certification status, disciplinary history, and bankruptcy disclosure.
Criminal Background Check
Nationwide search of criminal history/records, Sex Offender Records, and Department of Correction Records.
Personality and Workstyle Profile
Kolbe and DISC.
Credit Check
Credit history according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) for employment purposes.
Professional Reference Verification
We will contact professional references of the candidate to determine ethics, attitudes, level of job knowledge and skill set as viewed by co-workers to help establish a profile of the candidates personality, reputation and character.
Candidate Screening Summary Report
Customized compilation of all candidate assessment results in a consolidated one page easy to read report.

Once you have made your product selection and completed the payment process, please email the full name and email address of the candidates who New Planner Recruiting, LLC will be screening to info@newplannerrecruiting.com. We will then reach out to the candidate and begin the screening process and send you the Summary Report once the candidate completes the process.
